The wool blend used in our footwear is a mix of wool from Danish Gotland sheep and wool from New Zealand. This is a mix, we have been refining through years, ending up with the result we use in our production of footwear today. This mix is packed with benefits for your little one. It will keep the feet warm on cold days, but also keep them cool on warmer days. The fibers of the wool can absorb any excess heat, moisture or odor from the feet, leaving your child feeling comfortable under almost any circumstances. The excess heat, moisture and odor is then released, when the boots are given a rest, preferably somewhere in the fresh air, perhaps during nap time for the little one.
Furthermore, it can be good to know that the fiber of the wool has a molecular structure close to that of human skin, making the boots less likely to cause irritation, even on the tender skin of children and even when worn for longer periods of time.
