Women’s anti-odor slippers

Forget about slippers that gain more and more odor as they are used – allow us to introduce you to glerups anti-odor slippers for women. Take a look at our selection here.

The secret is in the wool

At glerups, we have spent many years developing the woolmix that we use in our production today. Different types of wool have been in the mix, but we have now landed on the perfect mix of wool from New Zealand. This wool mix is so much more than just softness against your skin. It consists of fibres that have the ability to absorb excess heat, moisture and, yes – even odor coming from the feet.

The fibres have a molecular structure that is close to that of human skin, meaning that even with sensitive skin, you will not get skin irritation from wearing our slippers. The maintenance of the slippers in order to stay odor free, is minimal and the reward you will receive every time you put them on, will be worth this tiny effort.

Taking care of your slippers

You do however have a tiny responsibility in keeping your glerups slippers nice and fresh. When the wool has absorbed all the excess moisture, heat and odor, the slippers need a rest – preferably somewhere in the fresh air. All the absorbed is then released and after a while, your glerups are ready to be worn again and give you the comfort, you deserve. For more information on how to take care of your glerups slippers, go to our careguide and follow the easy steps, your glerups will not only feel fresh and new, every time you put them on – you will help them last even longer.

Sustainability and comfort

Since the beginning of glerups, there has always been a deep respect for materials that nature has provided us with. We have always strived to make our footwear in a way that is as unharmful to nature as possible – and in doing so, we have now been rewarded with a Sustainability Award for our natural rubber sole slip-ons and a Cradle to Cradle certificate at bronze level 4.1 for all of our slipper models for adults.
