The wool is from New Zealand, where we know their ethical standards when taking care of animals is high. Since the beginning of glerups, there has always been a deep respect for materials that nature has provided us with. We have always strived to make our footwear in a way that is as unharmful to nature as possible – and in doing so, we have now been rewarded with a Sustainability Award for our natural rubber sole slip-ons and a Cradle to Cradle certificate at bronze level 4.1 for all of our slipper models for adults.
